UNDERSTANDING PATHWAYS TO SANCTIFICATION – PART 3

There is a path to righteousness and sanctification – Psalm 23:1-3, Matthew 7:14. Sanctification is the will of God, not the idea of a pastor or the church – 1 Thessalonians 4:3.

  • Grave connotes stagnation. It also means things that are beyond human power – John 5:25.
  • Sanctification is not a gift, nor is it a calling. It is a choice and any one that desires it must accept a no – transferrable responsibility of working it out – Philippians 2:12.
  • Once sanctified is not always sanctified!
