GOD’S AGENDA FOR THE LAST DAY

  1. The last days are the days of supernatural wealth- Hagg. 2:6-9.
  • The gospel thrives on prosperity – Zech. 1:17.
  • It takes power to partake of supernatural wealth – Deut. 8:18.
  • Satan can give riches but it comes with sorrow, God gives riches and adds no sorrow – 1 Chron. 29:12.
  • It takes particular power to access this wealth and It is called the giving power. 2 Cor. 8:7, John. 10:18.
  • God will never prosper an unbeliever.

DIMENSIONS OF GIVING

  1.  
  2. Worship offering – Hagg. 1:9-10.
  3. Kingdom Promotion.
  4. Giving to parents – Gen. 27:25.
  5. Giving to the poor – Prov. 28:27.
  6. Giving to your priest – 2 Chron. 20:20, Rom. 15:27, Jer. 3:15, Gal. 6:6.

 

  1. The last days are the days of consecration
  • Consecration leads to empowerment – Ezek. 36:27, 1 Cor 6:9-11.
  • It takes the power of God to live above sin – Rom. 8:13.

PROFITABLE APPROACH TO FASTING

  1. We must forgive those that offend us – Mk. 11:25-26.
  2. We must come reminding God of His word – 1 John. 5:14.
  3. Engage in praying for the needs of others – Eph. 6:8.
  4. We must come with full assurance – Matt. 17:19-21.
